Man charged in December fatal shooting of man near Houston's Fifth Ward
Derek Sam Anderson, 21, has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Joshua Davis on Dec. 7, according to court records.Prosecutors were seeking to deny Anderson bail because of previous felony convictions.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 3:50 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 1600 block of Sam Wilson Street and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Houston Police Department. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. After the shooting, investigators released pictures of three people sought in connection to the death.
