A man has been charged with soliciting to commit murder, rape and kidnap in relation to ITV presenter Holly Willoughby. The man from Harlow is due to appear in court today following an arrest in the town this week.
This Morning presenter and mum of three Holly, 42, is reportedly under police guard following an alleged plot to kidnap her this week. The presenter was replaced by Alison Hammond on Thursday this week due to concerns for her safety, reports EssexLive. Essex Police confirmed they had arrested a 36-year-old man at an address in Harlow on Wednesday this week. Gavin Plumb, of Potters Field in the town, has now been charged with three counts in relation to the case.Detective Superintendent Rob Kirby said “This was an extremely fast paced investigation, with many of our officers and national partners working overnight to secure these charges.
