A man has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon and going equipped for theft after police stopped “a man acting suspiciously”.
Three Rivers Police officers spotted a man who had apparently been acting suspiciously in Chorleywood Road, Rickmansworth, at around midday last Friday .Lee Burnage, 50, of Berkeley Gardens, London, was subsequently charged with going equipped for theft and possession of an offensive weapon and is due to appear at St Albans Magistrates' Court on Tuesday April 30.
