A 20-year-old man was charged with a fatal shooting Saturday in Galveston County. He was held on $100,000 bond.
Jaron Bryce Morgan was held on $100,000 bond for allegedly shooting another man just after 8:30 a.m. in the 4700 block of East 38th Street in Dickinson, according to Dickinson police.
Morgan was seen leaving the scene of the shooting with a female, and both were taken into custody, police said. Morgan was identified as the alleged shooter and charged with capital murder. The victim was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare in Clear Lake, where he died. He has not been publicly identified.
