Jake Vaughan will appear in court today
A man has been charged with multiple offences after police were called to a 'disturbance' in Salford.
Officers were called to the incident on Manchester Road in Swinton at around 6.50pm on Saturday , police said. Jake Vaughan, of Wood Lane, Worsley, has now been charged in connection with the investigation. The 28-year-old has been charged with Section 18 assault causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article and driving whilst disqualified. He has also been charged with driving a motor vehicle on the road otherwise in accordance without a license and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.Vaughan has been remanded into custody. He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' today .
