Julian Alvarez is looking to leave Manchester City this summer Manchester City will demand at least £60 million before add-ons for Julian Alvarez, according to reports. The 24-year-old spent two seasons at City, and scored 19 goals for Pep Guardiola’s side last term as they ended the campaign with a historic fourth Premier League title in a row. Alvarez made 54 appearances in all competitions and was the eighth-highest outfield City player in terms of minutes played across the season.
Alvarez may also have an option to remain in the Premier League as reports in Argentina claimed last month that Chelsea were considering a move. Arsenal have also been linked with Alvarez as Mikel Arteta is keen to add a versatile attacking player to his squad after they finish second behind City in the Premier League last season. Alvarez made five appearances for Argentina in their successful Copa America campaign this summer and is now representing the national side at the Olympics in Paris.
