A man is seriously injured in hospital
A man has been seriously injured in a collision with a lorry following a police chase earlier this morning.
The man was the only person in the car and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.North Yorkshire Police have referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct . This is mandatory when there is a serious injury after police involvement.
