A 25-year-old man who Houston police say got on top of a moving semitractor-trailer and started dancing died after the truck passed under a bridge and knocked him off.
The man, who was not identified by law enforcement, was killed just after 11:30 a.m. during the Nov. 10 incident on Eastex Freeway, which runs through the heart of downtown, theThe driver of the red Kenworth semitrailer was traveling southbound along the freeway and was unaware the man had either jumped onto or climbed on top of the 18-wheeler and started dancing, possibly recording himself, police said.
As the semi passed underneath the Tuam Street bridge, the release says, the man was struck and knocked off the trailer onto the freeway main lanes.
