Sean Anthony Gillings is due to go on trial next month
A man has denied trying to kidnap a schoolgirl in Salford. Sean Anthony Gillings, 33, pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted kidnapping at a court hearing earlier today.
He is due to go on trial next month at Manchester Crown Court. GMP previously said they received a report that a 15-year-old girl had been approached by a man at a bus stop between the two roundabouts on Monton Green, Monton, at about 6.15pm on November 21.Mr Gillings, of no fixed address, is due to go on trial next month. Adjourning the case until then, Judge Hilary Manley told the defendant: "Sean Gillings, as you know your trial is due to be begin on April 25.
