The body of the man was reported to the police earlier this morning
A man has died after falling from a crane in Leeds City Centre. According to West Yorkshire Police, they received a report of a body of a man being found at a construction site at 7.54am on Wednesday morning . This was at Central Road in the city centre.
He is not a member of staff at the site. A police cordon and road closure are in place while the police investigate, but the incident is not believed to be suspicious.West Yorkshire Police said: "At 7.54am today, police received a report of the body of a man having been found at a construction site in Central Road in Leeds city centre.
"A scene and road closure are in place while the circumstances are established but the incident is not believed to be suspicious."
