An investigation has been launched and it is not yet known what caused the blast
Fire and emergency crews were called to Alloa in Clackmannanshire at around 6pm on Sunday amid reports of an explosion.Three other people from the same block of flats were taken to Forth Valley Royal Infirmary with minor injuries for treatment.

Search and rescue teams are continuing to work their way through rubble following a house explosion on Kellie Place in Alloa this evening. Smoke can still be seen billowing from the property with locals describing the noise like “a bomb going off”.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed crews responded to multiple reports of an explosion and house fire on Kellie Place and “immediately mobilised a number of resources to the scene”.
