Detectives say the victim and a suspect were “involved in a verbal altercation” when the suspect shot the man and fled the scene, police said. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 25-year-old Jailon Freeman. The medical examiner said Freeman died about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday
The office determined Freeman’s death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head. It added he died on a sidewalk outside of an apartment building.Email Address
