He is in hospital
The 40-year-old was struck on George Street in the city centre shortly before 11pm on Saturday night.Medics say he is in critical condition.A Policespokesperson said: “Around 10.50 pm on Saturday, August 5, police were called to a report of a man injured after being struck by a vehicle in George Street, Glasgow.
“Officers attended and the 40-year-old man was taken by Ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where staff describe his condition as critical. “A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and police enquiries are ongoing.”
