After seeing his wife in a parked vehicle with someone else, a man fired multiple shots at the car, hitting one of the occupants, Harrisburg police say.

The accused gunman, identified as Erick Vazquez-Torres, was in the area of South 19th and Paxton Streets around 6 a.m. Sunday when he saw his wife in a parked vehicle and approached it with a gun, police say.Vazquez-Torres shot at the car multiple times, striking one of the occupants with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. The victim was not identified in initial reports.
The pursuit ended in neighboring jurisdiction after the victim crashed, police said. They did not provide the location of the crash. At last report, Vazquez-Torres was jailed on two counts of criminal attempt homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, one county of simple assault, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of kidnapping.
