Lancashire Constabulary has released new images of a man found dead in a field in Rivington as they continue to appeal for information. The man's identity and cause of death remain unknown.
Three months ago, a man was found dead in a field in Rivington . The man, thought to be aged between 40 and 50-years-old, was found dead on Dean Brook, near Horrobin Lane, on December 7 last year. An investigation was launched, with his death not thought to be suspicious. The man's identity, and how he met his death, remain a mystery.
Previous appeals shared by Lancashire Constabulary to try and track down his family and uncover who he was saw pictures of the clothes he was wearing shared publicly. The force has now released new images, produced by an artist, of what the man could have looked like as they continue to appeal for information. They believe he may have been there for a short time before he was found.
