Police said a man, believed to be a security guard, was found fatally shot in the living room of an Overbrook Park home on Wednesday night.
Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were dispatched to the 900 block of North 68th Street around 8 p.m. for reports of an unresponsive man.
Police said 48-year-old Yaharne Harper was found on the floor in the living room with a gunshot wound to the head. He was found in his full security guard uniform, police say. Officers also observed bullet holes in the living room window and in the flat-screen television sitting in the room. Authorities believe his body may have been there for several hours.
