A man in a hazmat suit who entered a flower shop in Bergen County and sprayed plants with an unknown substance as two others video what was likely a social media stunt, authorities said Monday. The incident occurred about 5 p.m. on Jan. 16 at a floral shop on Harristown Road in Glen Rock. Police say a man wearing the protective suit entered the shop with two other people.
The man “in the hazmat suit was carrying a hand-held sprayer and began spraying plants and flowers in the store with an unknown substance,” Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said Monday.
