The driver of the Ford van drove off from the scene
A 41-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a van on New Years Day in Irthlingborough. Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses as they continue to look for the van driver.
The incident took place on Baker Street, Irthlingborough in the early hours of New Years Day, Sunday January 1. The pedestrian is said to have fallen before colliding with the white Ford van. Emergency services attended the scene and the 41-year-old was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries, where he still currently remains. before emergency services could talk to them. They have still not been located and enquiries continue to progress in tracking them down.
Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage of the collision itself.
