A man was injured Tuesday night when he apparently fell from an upper level of Lucas Oil Stadium during Mötley Crüe's performance, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
On Wednesday, public information officer Samone Burris said the man was"awake and breathing" when police reached him at the concert. Spokeswoman Monica Whitfield Brase said in a statement that Lucas Oil Stadium was"made aware that a person was injured as the result of a fall during the Stadium Tour." Brase said the stadiums and its contractors"work tirelessly to maintain the highest safety standards and best practices with regard to the physical structure and operations of the stadium." All employees and volunteers with Sodexo Live!, the venue's food service provider, are trained on food and alcohol service standards, she added.
