A man killed in a shooting at a Northwest Side sports bar this week has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner.
Daniel Reese, 36, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the ME. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Officers were called around 2 a.m. to Boneheadz Sports Pub in the 9500 block of Console Drive, not far from Interstate 10 and Wurzbach Road after receiving word of a shooting. Police said a man in his 40s turned himself in after the shooting. While officers were on scene he contacted them and told them he was the shooter. He was found to have a gun in his possession, police said.
