The city's sheriff court heard that the two men were together with a third into the early hours of the morning.Prosecutor Mark Allan said:"Leonard picked up a kitchen knife and a struggle ensues.Paul Leonard was taken to hospital where he was treated with eight stitches for the calf wound.The third man reported the incident and Leonard was arrested.READ MORE:"He lost his temper with his brother.
"His brother reports that he acted in an aggressive way towards him and disagreed with him all night. "They had a close relationship and were together all the time until the incident and now they have no contact." It was revealed Leonard has a 1999 previous conviction for violence for which he received a three-month sentence.
