The man had flown in from Spain
A man was arrested on suspicion of breaching a gang injunction. Merseyside Police arrested the man, from Dovecot, at John Lennon Airport on Sunday, July 21 after he had flown in from Spain. The 34-year-old breached his gang injunction order after he was seen at Manchester Airport in November last year. The suspect was in possession of a large quantity of cash and a Rolex watch which was seized, police said.
Officers further arrested him on suspicion of the second breach of his gang injunction order and for being in possession of criminal property. He was released under investigation. A gang injunction is issued by a court to prevent violence and drug dealing activity against a person aged 14 or over where it is satisfied on the balance of probabilities that: A gang injunction can prohibit a person from particular behaviour and/or make certain requirements of her/him as it sees fit.
