DETECTIVES have confirmed that a man was seriously injured during a daylight stabbing attack in Greenock town centre.
Officers are appealing for information after the 38-year-old male was stabbed on the leg within a close in the town's West Blackhall Street shortly after 2pm on Thursday. The injured male was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. Police are asking those who were in the area at the time to get in touch if they have any information.Share
