State prison officials are looking for Mitchell Lindsey, a man who escaped from Kilby Correctional Facility this morning.
Lindsey, 29, escaped just before 8:30 a.m. from the prison, which is located in Montgomery County, according to a news release from the Alabama Department of Corrections. Prison officials described Lindsey as 6 feet 2 inches tall, 165 pounds and wearing a brown or khaki prison uniform. He has brown hair and blue eyes, according to the release.
