One stabbing victim died. The conditions of the suspect and a surviving victim were not immediately known.
Deputies shot a man suspected of stabbing one woman to death and injuring another at a Lake Forest apartment complex on Sunday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
A little less than 15 minutes after deputies arrived, according to the sheriff statement, “an officer involved shooting occurred,” and the man was shot and injured. The man and the injured woman found outside the apartment were taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately clear.
