OAKLAND — A man was shot Monday afternoon in East Oakland, authorities said.The shooting was reported about 1:55 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of East 17th Street, a primarily residential neighborhood in the Clinton area of the city.
The man was outside when he was shot. Police were trying to determine if he was shot by someone in a vehicle or by someone who approached him on foot.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
