The shooting occurred outside Johnny Ray's bar in the Kenmore neighborhood, police say.
AKRON, Ohio — A 39-year-old man was wounded in both legs when he was shot during a fight outside a bar in the Kenmore neighborhood.
Police say officers were called to Johnny Ray’s bar on the 1300 block of West Waterloo Road early Thursday morning. The person calling police says there was a fight outside the bar between the victim and two other males when the shooting occurred. The two suspects left the area in a dark-colored vehicle, police say. It’s unclear what led to the fight.
The victim was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center. His wounds are not considered life-threatening.
