Officers are searching for a grey vehicle in connection with the shooting in southwest Houston, officials say.

A man was seriously injured late Tuesday after someone shot him and pushed him out of a car in the parking lot of a convenience store in southwest Houston, officials said. Officers responded around 9 p.m. to a hold up in the 7200 block of Bellerive Drive and found the man in the parking lot, Lt. Larry Crowson, of the Houston Police Department, told On Scene reporters. The man was taken to a hospital.Witnesses told investigators the man was inside a grey vehicle and arguing with two other people when someone shot him and shoved him out of the car, Crowson said.
