A man apparently shot Sunday was found dead at a southwest Houston apartment early Tuesday, according to the Houston Police Department.
The Houston Police Department responded to reports of a body in an apartment and found a man dead with a gunshot wound.
Witnesses did not report the shooting until Monday night or Tuesday morning, Houston police told On Scene reporters.When officers arrived at the apartment, they found a dead man suffering from at least one visible gunshot wound. Preliminary investigation revealed the man who died had been with two other men in the apartment Sunday using drugs and one of the two men pulled a gun and demanded the victim take his hand out of his pocket, according to police. When the man didn’t do as told, he was shot.
