Police say a pair of men were fighting
The brutal incident occurred in Newlands Way, Ravenscliffe, near Eccleshill Community Hospital, at about 3.40pm on Sunday, August 11. The man was wounded in his back.His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. West Yorkshire Police are carrying out enquiries in the area.
A force spokesperson said: "At 3.39pm yesterday, police were called to Newlands Way, Ravenscliffe, where a man had been stabbed during a fight with another man. "The victim, a 20-year-old man, received a wound to the back when he was struck with a machete. He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were serious but not life threatening.
