Surveillance video shows police initially arriving at the scene and attempting to make their way to Fischer. The officers have to turn around quickly and get back in their vehicle because the swarm began attacking them as well.Fisher was taken to the hospital for several days but has since been released.“My mouth area is all swollen. There were literally thousands. At least a thousand on me and thousands flying around in the area,” Fisher told ABC15.
“I started swatting at it. Bad idea because next thing I knew we were surrounded by all these bees,” he added.
