Ineos are continuing to make changes to Man United's infrastructure in a bid to improve the club's overall standards.

Manchester United have announced that work has started to redesign the iconic players' tunnel at Old Trafford.

Being overseen by the football department, the refurbishment will introduce a 'more modern and premium space for the squads to utilise'. United have also said that existing plaques in memory of former club president John Henry Davis and former owner James W. Gibson will both be given new homes inside the tunnel.READ MORE: Marcus Rashford set for talks with United to decide on future

The project will cost £50million and United have said the changes will deliver a 'world-class football facility with a positive culture to support future success'. The renovation work is expected to be ongoing for the duration of the 2024/25 season and the initial focus will be on the gym, medical, nutrition and recovery areas for the players.
