Manchester United are looking for attacking reinforcement this summer and have been told that two strikers can be bought for just £59m.
Manchester United are thought to be operating on a low starting net spend this summer, putting the emphasis on Dan Ashworth to make sales count.
When it comes to finding a striker, United will likely look for someone who can support and perhaps challenge Rasmus Hojlund rather than usurp him. The 21-year-old is a long-term £72m investment and reports of an exit seem far-fetched, to state the obvious. Napoli may need to lower their price, but United cannot afford to wait around to see whether they do or not. Meanwhile, they have been linked with two strikers who would fit the type of profile they are after better - and for considerably cheaper.
Meanwhile, United have been linked with Lille attacker Jonathan David, who is widely claimed to have a £25m release clause. Chelsea are thought to have enquired about the Canadian albeit talks are thought not to be at an advanced stage. There is an argument for bringing both to Old Trafford given Jadon Sancho looks bound to exit and United will need more attacking wing options.
