Both Manchester United and Manchester City reportedly made last-gasp efforts to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise - as Bayern Munich look to have won the race for the winger.
The Mirror now reports that United and City have both made their own attempts to take Olise. Palace have set an asking price for the player at £60-70 million. But they have accepted Olise’s desire to play in the Champions League, with the winger having turned down a move to Chelsea to put pen to paper on a new deal at Selhurst Park last season. A move to Bayern Munich would see Olise link up with former Man City defender Vincent Kompany, who became the club’s new manager this summer. He will also play alongside England captain Harry Kane, who made the move to Germany last summer.
