They didn't get nearly as much as they wanted from the ones they did manage to sell and most remain at the club.
But now Evans has been signed for the year and could be above him in the pecking order. Just as United lost their final player to have won the Premier League in David de Gea, another suddenly arrived. Though he has a squad number, Evans hasn't been involved in any matches so far but that could change now he has officially returned to the club. It's a deal that makes a lot of sense and had to be completed.
