Latest Man United transfer news with Jarrad Branthwaite and Gleison Bremer among the centre-backs Ineos are looking at signing after Raphael Varane's departure
Manchester United have a lot of decisions to make as they ponder over the future of manager Erik ten Hag.
Jarrad Branthwaite MEN Sport understands that United are interested in Brathwaite. Our colleagues at the Daily Star claim Everton will demand around £80million for the England international who has three years left on his current contract. United however are said to value the centre-back at closer to £60m with Sir Jim Ratcliffe not prepared to pay over the odds.
Gleison Bremer Bremer is another centre-back who MEN Sport understands United are monitoring. The Brazilian is believed to have had a release clause inserted in his Juventus contract when he penned a new deal in December but it is not active until 2025. Jean-Clair Todibo The Nice centre-back has naturally been linked to United with the Ligue 1 club co-owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos. Todibo has recently opened on his future, admitting that talks have taken place.
MEN Sport's Isaac Seelochan says: United have done several transfers with Chelsea before with very little success. Mason Mount's £60million move last summer is already looking like a poor deal for the Red Devils.
