Old Trafford is ready to see some of the stars of yesteryear as legends from the past of both clubs go head to head
Celtic and Manchester United have enjoyed close links over the years with the latter succeeding the Hoops as European champions when Jock Stein’s men became the first British side to win the trophy in 1967. Celtic have also been invited by a host of United legends to provide opposition for testimonial matches including Robson himself and Bryan Brian McClair and Roy Keane - who starred for both sides - as well as Ryan Giggs.
All proceeds from Saturday's upcoming event will go towards funding young people across Manchester and beyond. It will help educate youngsters on the inner workings of a football club to improve confidence, life skills as well as employability.
