An alert has been issued to passengers to check the dates
Manchester Airport has announced a number of airlines are moving from Terminals 1 and 3 to the new-look T2 - with an alert issued to passengers.
From 2025, and after a huge transformation programme worth £1.3bn, the airport's Terminal 2, which will more than double in size, will serve around 70 per cent of all the airport's passengers, with the old T1 then closing. The airport said that under the programme, the 'new homes' of some airlines will be T2.Flights with airlines Austrian, Lufthansa and Swiss will move to T2 on Sunday, October 27. For TAT Air Portugal, the date is October 30.
The airport, meanwhile, has also urged passengers with car parking or lounge bookings to get in touch so they can be changed. All fast-track bookings for T1 and T3 will be able to be used in T2.
