With 412 bedrooms TRIBE is now Manchester's biggest hotel, with an extraordinary £80m design
Manchester's biggest hotel has now opened its doors to guests - and it's a real stunner. The huge TRIBE Hotel sits just a couple of minutes away from Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport .
Inside, the first thing you notice is the light, from the vast central atrium with a glass roof at the top at its heart. Here if you look up you will see the floor to ceiling windows of the bedrooms in the floors above. The hotel has a unique shape too, described as an "Irregular trapezoid" or in other words a wonky square. It means corner rooms benefit from increased floorspace.
At TRIBE there are two styles of room, Essential, with a 17sqm footprint, which starts in price from £115 per night, and the larger Extra with 24sqm of space where rooms start from £155. Those prices are room only, and you can add breakfast for £15 per person. There's a crew lounge too On the first floor, the hotel boasts a new dedicated space for Manchester Airport flight crews. It features a large social and catering space, as well as shower rooms.
The breakfast served at the restaurant is full buffet style, and there is also a vegan and gluten free section including a gluten free toaster.
