Bristol City defender Naomi Layzell signs four-year deal at Manchester City.
The 20-year-old was named Bristol City's young player of the year last season as the Robins were relegated from the Women's Super League .
Layzell, an England Under-21 international, has already trained with the senior national side after catching the eye of manager Sarina Wiegman. She said of her move: "It's quite surreal to be honest. You always want to play for the top teams as a young player and I think joining City is an exciting opportunity for me.
"Playing alongside and against top elite professionals in the world is just a brilliant opportunity and a really hard one to turn down." Centre-back Layzell becomes City's sixth signing of the summer, joining Vivianne Miedema, Risa Shimizu, Aoba Fujino, Eve Annets and Ayaka Yamashita in moving to the team who finished second in last season's WSL.
