A Manchester family is among hundreds of TUI holidaymakers left 'stranded' in Turkey after a UK air traffic control failure meant flight plans had to be input manually by controllers.
But meanwhile major UK airlines such as TUI and BA have warned of “significant delays” for passengers amid changes to schedules. "There are people here with disabled children who are having a meltdown. There's a mother who has run out of nappies and there's another with no milk to feed her baby. "There are children crying and some children have not got their medication. There must be more than a hundred people here and a lot of small children."
