Elisabeth Terland scored her first two goals in Manchester United colours to help them cruise to a 3-0 win over Tottenham in the Women's Super League.
Captain Maya Le Tissier completed the scoring when she slotted in from the penalty spot after Ashleigh Neville was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box. Despite a comfortable scoreline for the hosts, it was Spurs who made the brighter start with Martha Thomas forcing an early save by Phallon Tullis-Joyce.
The 23-year-old seems to have finally found her feet at her new club and, with two clinical finishes and superb hold-up play, she looks like a shrewd signing. Meanwhile, Grace Clinton, who has returned to United after a season-long loan at Tottenham, was also a threat. Attempt missed.
