New York City police said the gunman wanted for killing a man and his stepson in Brooklyn last weekend was shot by officers Wednesday after the suspect charged at officers with a knife.
The New York Post reported that the police had a positive hit on his license plate and pulled over Mr. Pass in the Bath Beach neighborhood around 7 a.m. Wednesday.Mr. Pass had been on the run since he was accused of gunning down Bladimy Mathurin, 47, and his 27-year-old stepson Chinwai Mode late Sunday in East Flatbush.
Police on Tuesday said Mr. Pass made at least six calls to the city’s 311 nonemergency line to complain about noise from his upstairs neighbors since March 2022. Mr. Mathurin appears to be armed with a pair of scissors and sticks them in the face of the suspect during the argument.
