Martin Brundle's grid walk confrontations are getting out of hand.
By now, you know how Sky Sports F1 broadcaster Martin Brundle conducts his pre-race grid walks: a handful of celebrity interviews that go nowhere in particular, a few quick 15-second chats with racing luminaries who can't really talk right now, and, about once a year, a celebrity with no interest in speaking to Brundle brushing him aside as he gets off a quick quip suggesting they weren't worth his time anyway.
. At this point, a professional interested in making those grid walks a useful television segment for anyone but Martin Brundle would have long since adjusted away from seeking out stars and star-adjacent notable names who made it clear they had no interest in talking to the broadcast.
The outcome was clear from the moment a representative for Delevingne suggests that she does not want to talk to the cameras. From that point on, the audience no longer has anything to gain and the best path forward is to move on to anyone else. But Brundle can salvage his embarrassment with a quip about the interview he had thought so important he needed to press the issue three separate times on live TV just fifteen seconds earlier, so he pushes again and again.
