Martin Lewis has put his hands in the air and admitted that 'inundated' phone lines for Student Loans Company may heve been "my fault".
It comes after Mr Lewis warned his followers on social media that they may be owed some cash back on their student loans due to being overcharged. He highlighted that people could potentially earn thousands of pounds back just by double-checking their student loan payments. He added: "Recently my team put in a Freedom of Information request to the Student Loans Company. We do this each year, and it showed over a million people overpaid in the 2022-23 tax year.
