The judgment is due on Thursday, according to reports.
Martin Lewis, the star of ITV's The Martin Lewis Money Show and host of a BBC Sounds podcast, has shared an important update about the WASPI women's compensation from the Department for Work and Pensions. He announced on Wednesday that the judgement is due today, which could be big news for the economy and very welcome for the WASPI women.
He had earlier written: "EXCL: A *long*-delayed report is expected tomorrow on compensation for “WASPI women” who had their state pension age pushed back. Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman could hand a major spending headache to the Tories and Labour just before an election…" Another commented: "As a WASPI woman I think it is unlikely to happen even if the report recommends it. Look how long govt has taken to pay PO and contaminated blood victims."
