Mason Greenwood has been spotted training alongside a former Manchester United teammate as he nears a permanent transfer away.He scored 10 goals in 36 appearances but despite still having a contract until 2025, United are looking to cash in on the forward.Greenwood is back in the United Kingdom as he waits for developments in his situation and was spotted with his father.
Wearing a Jamaica football shirt and holding an orange football boot, he was also snapped taking part in a small training session alongside Shola Shoretire. The 20-year-old is United's youngest ever player in European competition, replacing Greenwood aged 17 years and 23 days against Real Sociedad in 2021.With his contract up, the former Bolton Wanderers loanee was placed on the club's retained list last month, with United saying that "discussions remain open" with him over a potential new deal.However there hasn't been much movement and it's looking more likely that he will be moving on.
