Mason Mount ends 18-year affiliation with Chelsea as he signs for Man United
His competitive Chelsea debut actually came against United in August 2019, but it was not one to remember as the Blues were beaten 4-0 at Old Trafford.
However, his time with his boyhood club was a success as he won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup. Mount, who has scored 27 Premier League goals in 129 games, could now play his first game for Erik ten Hag's side in Oslo in a pre-season friendly against Leeds. United had seen three bids knocked back by Chelsea for Mount, whose contract was due to expire next summer.
