The unidentified officer, who was left injured in the incident, had pulled over 31-year-old Derek Lobo at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday for “motor vehicle violations,” according to theDashcam footage shows the cop and his partner leaning into Lobo’s Mercedes with the driver’s door open. Seconds later, the unidentified officers lean further into the car, appearing to struggle with Lobo as his partner, Corey Douglas, reaches to grab his colleague to pull him out.
