Honey-producing bees can cause severe inflammation and complications like keratitis, optic neuritis, and glaucoma when they sting someone near the eye. McConaughey previously sustained a work injury in 2008, cutting his face so badly he needed stitches while training for a fighter movie called The Grackle.
'We shot that in New Mexico as the last scene of the movie, and I don’t think that’s coincidental.
